Ashton inquired for an engagement session after Austin proposed in the Bahamas this past summer. (So cute!) Ashton’s inquiry said, “I would love fun and playful vibes with some romantic and intimate ones thrown in as well.” That was MUSIC to my ears! I was so excited to create just that for them and kept this goal at the forefront of my mind.
We worked to find a location and then met up. Luckily for me, these two are just silly, giggly, and plain smitten with each other! They were so ready to have fun, play around and when I mentioned getting in the water, they were 100% for it. (And that’s when I wanted to jump up and down for joy!) When couples show up wanting to enjoy their session, not just pose for pictures, that is when the magic happens. I can take incredible photos. I can make the scene look beautiful. But, I can’t make my subjects… my clients, create real emotions with each other. If you are all in your head, worried, wanting to look perfect it’s going to look stiffer and not feel natural. So what’s the solution? It’s exactly what these two did. Show up to your session, be as in love and happy as you truly are, and have fun! I’ll handle the rest!
